I know a secret, but I don’t know whether to tell it. 

I bought myself a sweet new camera today.. testing it out… I should be downloading music to play tonight, I’m making my birmingham djing debut in subway city.  I’m a bit more nervy than I thought I would be, I’ve done this a million times before, but for some reason I can’t get the idea we might flop out my head. Oh well. 

I also found a new place to live today, It’s an old care home, the rent is £180 a month, over hald what I pay now. I’ll have to buy a fridge and probably a washing machine, but according to gumtree that’ll require about £60. I’ve cancelled my rent dd, I can’t be bothered with the hassle of getting the deposit back so Im just not paying the last months rent. sod them. anyway I need to go buy blank cds and a camera case. happy daze

Benicasim was wonderful. I think I’m a changed person now though. there were ups and downs, but most of all I have a newfound passion for Spain, and intend to shift all my efforts from making myself successful to just being able to live in Valencia. I could have cried for how beautiful it is, every cobbled street, shuttered window, and secret walled garden made me yearn for a totally different life. My eyes have been opened, I was no longer content with England, but now I know what I’m longing for. How can such a beautiful city exist and people still choose to live in Birmingham?! I’m booking my flights to go back and visit with my camera the moment I get paid.

today I sit and cry about the fact I’m not amanda de cadenet….. and theres about a million reasons why that upsets me but only two are important.

I’ve been a bit down in the dumps lately, but suddenly I’ve had the.most wonderful boost in motivation. I’ve stayed up all night tailoring CVs and applying for jobs… I’m just hoping the powers that be shine upon me.

Benicassim in one month and one week….. I’m counting down the days.

I’m more than excited about benicassim and my excursion to Jersey in September.

Other than life hasn’t progressed…not for lack of effort…. stressful.

My rapid overhaul of life plans are on hold on account of funding issues… my attentions are now turned to money making in the short term to invest in my long term schemes… moneys such a bother. If money was extracted from the equation I’m pretty sure my happiness would in crease double fold just from the lack of constant worrying.

In other news its my birthday soon and for the first year ever I don’t want to celebrate.

Money is such a hassle. I really can’t stand how it just gets in the way of everything. Money is the cause of so much trouble and strife. Garggggh

Glad I didn’t get tickets to the olympics now
